YouthBeat Relaunched as Insights Service

In the US, C&R Research's YouthBeat lifestyle report has been repositioned as a subscription service, with several new features including data analysis and answers to specific questions relating to the data.

Amy HenryChicago-based full-service agency C&R Research has been providing qual and quant research since its foundation in1959. The firm specializes in youth, boomers, parents, Latinos and shopper research.

Its re-vamped YouthBeat service contains response from a panel of 10,000 kids, tweens and teens, as well as 3,000 of their parents. Surveying is conducted monthly via an online qual survey, and offers feedback on respondents' lives, beliefs and attitudes.

Subscribers now not only have access to the raw data through a portal, but also receive analysis in the form of in-depth topical analysis, seasonal updates and an annual yearbook that offers a macro view of youth culture.

Additionally, YouthBeat advisory services provide subscribers with answers to their specific questions related to data or their business challenges.

'YouthBeat's data collection efforts are fueled by experienced researchers with expertise in the fields of developmental psychology and education,' explains Amy Henry, who recently joined C&R as VP of Youth Insights from Just Kind Inc, where she worked as MD of Research and Strategy.

'It is designed to provide its subscribers with everything they would want from a syndicated study on how youth and their families play, communicate, eat, shop and see the world; but with a more human touch and holistic viewpoint,' she adds.
