Harris Interactive Expands Asia Sales Division

Harris Interactive has expanded its Asia Sales division with the appointment of Kevin Huang as Vice President of Sales, and the promotion of Amrita Banta and Asha Choksi to the posts of SVP of Sales and SVP of Research respectively. All three are based in Singapore.

Asha ChoksiHuang joins from GfK Asia, where as Head of the Telecommunications Division he was responsible for the firm's retail audit panel for Asia, and for managing the product's profitability and revenue growth on a regional basis. Prior to this, he held business development and market research positions with Synovate and Frango Pte Ltd.

Banta, who joined Harris Interactive in 2007 as an Account Manger, has been promoted to her current role from her previous position of VP of Sales. In her new post, she will continue to drive sales growth in Asia across all markets.

Choksi joined the firm three years ago as VP of Research, prior to which she was MD of Client Services for GMI (Global Market Insite), and VP of Penn, Schoen and Berland, and worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM.

In August, Aman Arora will also be joining the Singapore-based team as Associate Director. Arora has eight years' market research experience, primarily gained in the telecoms, consumer electronics and emerging media fields.

Most recently, he has worked as a Senior Research Manager at TNS, responsible for managing an extensive multi-country brand tracking study for a major handset manufacturer. Prior to this, he was a Senior Market Research Manager at Eli Lilly.

Harris is currently recruiting for a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the sales teams across the Asia region, as well as for two business development rolls which will be based in Shanghai and Mumbai.
