Change in the Air for Weather Channel Researcher

In New York, former Weather Channel media researcher Ned Greenberg has joined Ipsos OTX MediaCT as Vice President, Syndicated Solutions.

Ned GreenbergIpsos OTX MediaCT was formed following the global group's acquisition of LA-based hi-tech entertainment research specialist OTX (Online Testing eXchange) earlier in the year. The division specializes in helping clients understand today's 'digitally-driven consumers' in the media, content and technology arenas.

Greenberg joins with a 28-year media research background. For the past 13 years, he worked at The Weather Channel, where he oversaw advertising impact, behavioral metrics and cross-media metrics studies, while also managing online research for weather.com.

Prior to this, he held leadership and analytical roles at cable networks including NBC Cable's CNBC and MSNBC, and MTV Networks channels. Before working in cable, Greenberg spent eight years working in broadcast research for owned and operated stations at ABC and Field Communications.

During his career, he has also chaired the CAB (Cable Advertising Bureau) Research Committee, the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) Video Committee, and the Media Ratings Council (MRC).

In his new role, Greenberg will be tasked with building on the firm's Longitudinal Media Experience (LMX) and ConsumerMaps products, which were designed to track consumer experience with media and brands. He will also be responsible for methodology, analysis, client service, business applications and activation of results for clients.
