Zoomerang Names New EVP General Manager

US-based research technology firm MarketTools has appointed Internet entrepreneur Alex Terry as Executive Vice President and General Manager of its DIY survey brand Zoomerang.

Alex TerryLaunched in 1999, Zoomerang provides customizable survey templates for feedback on customer satisfaction, products, events and for online voting. The division has a panel of more than 2.5 million consumers, and also offers services such as survey design and survey programming.

Terry joins from digital media firm NeoEdge Networks, where he worked as President and CEO. Prior to this he was VP and General Manager of America Online's Voice Services division at Time Warner. Earlier in his career, he co-founded a number of technology companies including International ThinkLink, which was acquired by Microsoft, and online music company RockWeb.com, which was acquired by WAH Entertainment.

In his new role, Terry is responsible for all aspects of the Zoomerang business, including growing the subscriber base, pursuing new market opportunities in the online survey and poll market, and driving overall financial results.
