UK Data Collection Firms Merge
UK-based data collection agency Perspective is to merge with Continental Direct, a subsidiary of the former Continental Research, creating a new firm, Perspective Research Services, which will launch officially on 1st October 2010.
The new firm will boast qual and quant data collection solutions including a 900-strong UK face-to-face and in-depth interview team; a skilled CATI unit of more than 200 stations, with worldwide reach; enhanced online survey capabilities; and a new state-of-the-art viewing facility in central London, Holborn Focus. It will operate from three London based offices in Holborn, Acton and Shadwell.
There have been no staff redundancies as a result of the merger.
Richard Sheldrake, Founder of Perspective and now MD of the new company, comments: 'Perspective will continue to be a name that the market research industry knows and trusts but what we are able to offer will be bigger, better and brighter.'
