Firms Link to Offer Advanced Techniques to Small Agencies

In the UK, quant market research firm We Work With Data has partnered with modelling specialist Logit Research, to offer boutique and smaller-sized agencies access to techniques such as max-diff and conjoint analysis.

Folkestone-based We Work With Data was formed in 2009 by Steve Taylor, Mike Trotman and Antony Saccomani, who previously worked together at the Harris Research Centre.

Its partnership with Sevenoaks-headquartered Logit Research - which was founded in 2004 by former MORI and RS Consulting exec Gary Bennett - was developed through the Independent Consultants' Group, an organisation that promotes networking, collaboration and cooperation among freelance and small consultancies in the UK market research industry.

The alliance aims to offer statistical analysis services which enable market modelling and market sizing - tools used by major global corporations - to smaller enterprises.

In addition, We Work With Data will be providing technology to export or drop survey results into PowerPoint presentation format, in order to develop new ways of communicating and disseminating research findings.

Says Taylor: 'My team and that based at Logit Research all have backgrounds working within leading agencies for major corporations, and can now bring our expertise to the many smaller companies out there that could really benefit from the same rigorous analysis.'
