GfK Sales Increase 10.8%
Ahead of its official financial report which will be published on 15th November, GfK has announced a 10.8% revenue increase to EUR 931m for the first nine months of 2010 (prior year: EUR 840.2m), of which 7.4% is attributable to organic sales growth.
 During the period, adjusted operating income increased by 33.6% to around EUR 120m (prior year: EUR 89.8m), and the group's margin (ratio of adjusted operating income to sales) rose to 12.9% from 10.7% in the prior year period.
In its report for the first half year 2010, GfK says it has already significantly increased its forecast with respect to sales and adjusted operating income, and confirms that its management board is confident that it will achieve the upper level of its guidance.
