Media Agency Hires Vogel as First Insight Director

In the US, media research guru Judy Vogel has joined Media Storm in the new role of Director of Insights and Analysis.

Judy VogelNorwalk, Connecticut-based Media Storm was launched in 2001 by Managing Partners Tim Williams and Craig Woerz, who formerly worked together at AOL Time Warner.

Vogel served most recently as SVP, Director of Research at PHD, where she oversaw media research support for all buying units, designed custom research solutions, and integrated research into all phases of PHD's communication planning process. Before this she held Director level research roles at OMD, BBDO Worldwide and Ketchum Advertising.

She is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Audit Bureau of Circulations, a past Chair of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A's) Media Research Committee, Chair of the ARF Print Council and a Board member of the Media Ratings Council (MRC).

'Judy's opinions and vision are respected throughout the advertising community and she will play an instrumental role in the continued evolution of Media Storm,' said Woerz. 'With her addition we're now poised to begin providing set top box mapping and custom research that bridges digital behavior with the behavior of television viewers.'
