Infonetics Strengthens Telecoms Team

In the US, communications MR specialist Infonetics Research has appointed telecoms industry veteran Teresa Mastrangelo as Directing Analyst for Cable, Satellite and IPTV Video.

Founded in 1990, Infonetics Research defines and tracks emerging and established technologies across the globe.

Mastrangelo joins with 23 years' telecoms experience, including 10 years as an industry analyst. Most recently, she founded market research firm The Windsor Oaks Group, where she worked as Principal Analyst and Director of Research. Before this, she was the Program Director for Broadband Network Strategies at RHK.

Prior to becoming an analyst, she held senior-level product marketing and product management positions with Cisco Systems, Advanced Fibre Communications (now part of Tellabs), and NEC America.

In her new role, Mastrangelo will track video services, subscribers, and equipment, including set-top boxes, VOD and streaming content servers, encoders, middleware, content protection software and mobile video.
