GfK Roper Names New London Leader

GfK has appointed Joe Staton as Director and General Manager for its Roper Consulting business, responsible for the day-to-day running of the London office, and for innovation in its global consumer trends and insight offer.

He will be based in the firm's London headquarters in Blackfriars.

Prior to joining GfK, Staton worked for The Future Foundation - now part of Experian - as Planning Director. Prior to this he spent nearly two decades working in advertising in a number of strategic planning, research and business development roles, with local and international clients in a number of sectors.

Phyllis Macfarlane, Chairman of GfK NOP UK, comments: 'Joe originally joined GfK Roper Consulting in April this year as Global Trends Director, and this appointment is testament to his management, client and business building skills across both B2B and B2C markets.' According to GfK Roper Group MD Holly Heline Jarrell, Staton has already 'greatly strengthened' the firm's trends offerings in his role as Director of Consumer Trends for the GfK Roper Consulting business in the UK and the US.
