B2B Buys Marcoms Agency Stake

In the UK, B2B International has taken a 50% stake in Leeds-based Frank Communications, to enable it to provide design, advertising and marketing services to its existing market research clients. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Frank Communications - which has now been re-named B2B Marcomms - offers services such as graphic design and print, branding, logo and corporate ID design, web design and web applications, direct mail and marketing.

It has been a supplier to B2B International for the past five years and the research firm says that the new venture builds on this history and the existing 'excellent working relationships' at director and creative levels.

Nick Hague, founder and MD of B2B International, believes that through the partnership, clients will no longer need to use multiple companies to execute their marketing strategies. He comments: 'Teaming up with B2B Marcomms ... enables us to help with marketing and communications implementation from brand development through to direct mail fulfillment and digital media management.'

Richard Fisher, MD of B2B Marcomms, says that the partnership is an endorsement of his firm's capability by providing a 'big name behind the creative'.
