FT Rolls Out Brazilian Analysis Service

Global news provider The Financial Times has launched an online research service giving fortnightly analysis and insights into the resources, infrastructure and consumer behaviours that are driving expansion across Brazil.

Richard LapperEdited in London, the new 'Brazil Confidential' service brings together analysis and research from a network of specialist correspondents, researchers, business leaders, government contracts and other sources.

As well as examining the complexities of Brazilian politics, the service also reports on investment opportunities in little known regions in the north-east and centre-west of the country.

Additionally, it provides coverage and analysis of the country's infrastructure and property industry - including trends, data, case studies, and snapshot surveys - while also analyzing consumer trends in consumption of goods and services.

Editor Richard Lapper comments: 'Brazil Confidential provides subscribers with an insider view, to help them make more informed investment decisions. Unbiased reliable research will keep readers current on key debates and provide invaluable new insights including access to data, surveys and the work of the best Brazilian researchers and analysts.'

Lapper was Latin America Editor at the Financial Times between 1998 and 2008, and lived in Brazil between 2002 and 2008, when he wrote extensively on the region. Most recently, he served as Bureau Chief for the FT in Johannesburg.
