Rentrak Hires Lee for TV Essentials Development

In the US, multi-screen measurement specialist Rentrak has appointed media veteran Sherri Lee as Product Manager of its TV Essentials audience measurement service, based in its Advanced Media & Information (AMI) division.

Rentrak offers a measurement service across numerous platforms including box office, multi-screen TV, and home video.

The firm's second-by-second TV Essentials service is based on set-top-box (STB) TV viewing data from two million AT&T U-verse homes in 36 markets, as well as from DISH Network's 14 million subscribers.

Lee joins with 20 years' media and ad industry experience. Most recently, she served as Senior Business Development Director of the Advertising Solutions Group at Harris Corporation, prior to which, she was a Business Consultant with multi-platform audience measurement firm Canoe Ventures. Earlier in her career she was a Consultant with Visible World, and she spent 16 years with Donovan Data Systems in a variety of product development leadership roles.

In her new post, Lee will be responsible for managing the TV Essentials' life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, and she will report to Dawne Richards, VP of Product Strategy for the AMI division.
