AlchemyAPI Adds Sentiment Analysis to Text Mining Platform

In the US, natural language processing technology firm AlchemyAPI has added advanced sentiment analysis functionality to its web text mining service.

The company's SaaS (software as a service) platform provides automated tagging, categorization, linguistic analysis, and semantic mining to online publishers, news aggregators, and contextual advertising firms.

The new sentiment analysis functionality, which includes keyword-level mining, has been built to uncover negative content, and to understand user-generated, short-form social media content, as well as editorial text.
