Russian Firm Opens in Finland and Canada

Moscow-based Online Market Intelligence (OMI), which provides online fieldwork in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and the Baltic states, has opened offices in Finland and Canada, with expansion in mind.

OMI provides online data collection using its own B2C, automotive, B2B IT and physician panels, as well as survey translation and programming, sample-only studies and top-ups.

Alexey Fedorovsky joins the new Helskinki office as Client Development Director Europe, from his previous role as Sales Director at Global Data Serviss/Quickrewards.

Meanwhile in Vancouver, the firm's new office is led by Boris Lyukmanov, who has been promoted to the position of Managing Director North America. Before joining the firm in 2008, he served as Quantitative Research Manager at Synovate, was a Senior Data Analyst at Communications Center Inc, and worked as a Data Analyst at Environics Research Group. Earlier in his career, he was Data Processing Director at the Russian Marketing Association Research Center.
