Former Yahoo! MD Joins Web Analytics Firm AdInsight

Former Yahoo! Europe VP Stephen Taylor has become Chairman of Manchester, UK-based call tracking and web analytics firm AdInsight.

AdInsight's software links telephone calls to the exact web site visitor who is calling, allowing businesses to understand how effective their online marketing is at driving offline conversions.

The call tracking software tracks the path each visitor takes to a client's web site, including what the visitor did on the site before, during, and after phoning the firm.

It also reports back on every keyword, advert, referring web site and click that results in site visitors picking up their phone and calling.

Taylor joins from local review firm Qype, where as CEO he was instrumental in growing the business from five to seventeen million unique users per month. Previously, he was Regional VP and MD for Yahoo! Europe, with responsibility for all aspects of the European Consumer business. Earlier in his career, Taylor sponsored search marketing specialist Overture, which was sold to Yahoo! in 2003.
