Mobile Partnership for Quester and iPinion

US tech-based qual researcher Quester and mobile survey software provider iPinion have integrated their systems to enhance their mobile research offering.

Jeff LinenfelserAnkeny, Iowa-based online qual firm Quester has developed what it calls 'the world's only virtual moderator', Socrates, to analyse comments and provider 'a deeper understanding of the context of the respondent's answer'.

iPinion's platform covers smartphones and tablets running the major operating systems, and offers a choice of survey deployment methods including native apps and web apps; as well as structured and unstructured options.

Quester's Chairman, Patrick J. Gorman, says the partnership will make mobile research 'more impactful by asking people to think at a deeper level', and adds: 'More companies will now hear the voice of the consumer in their own thoughtful words.'

'The tremendous portability and omnipresence of mobile devices provides a myriad of opportunities to better understand populations in their native habitats', says iPinion's VP of Customer & Partner Development Jeff Linenfelser. 'Given the ever increasing, tightly tethered associations we all have to our mobile units, it is clear that properly designed mobile research touch points are often being considered less intrusive than traditional approaches'.
