Benchmark Survey for Analytics Professionals

US-based competitive and market intelligence firm Aurora WDC is launching an 'analytical fitness diagnostic survey', to enable competitive intelligence, business analytics and market research professionals to compare their practices with one another annually.

Founded in 1995, Aurora WDC offers primary research, competitive and market analysis, and a network of third-party solution partners to intelligence teams and their clients worldwide. The firm's new benchmarking study will provide participating companies with a scorecard of their capacity for intelligence performance in meeting the needs of internal clients.

The project will also produce generalized data sets and develop industry-weighted indices of 'analytical fitness' indicators. Participation is by invitation-only, and the study will commence on 10 August 2011.
