Nunwood Takes Bigger Offices in Big Apple

Nunwood has relocated its New York operation to larger premises in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, to accommodate 'significant staff growth'.

Andy MooreThe new office, in the Flatiron District, opens its doors on Monday. It boasts more space and better meeting rooms, along with what the company describes as 'new internal systems to further enhance communications' with its global offices. Originally based in Leeds, UK, the company now has locations also in London, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Auckland and Sydney.

Nunwood reported a month ago that its sales had increased 13.4% like-for-like in the first half of 2011, to more than £5.9m, driven mainly by international expansion and in particular by a 120% increase in revenues in the US. Co-founder Phil Rushfirth moved to Los Angeles nine months ago to drive the US business, with Andy Moore promoted to Global MD in his place.

The company appointed former Reagan advisor Alan Bergstrom as its new Head of Brand & Comms Strategy in May, with Corey Moore joining as VP of Business Development.

Of the latest move, Andy Moore comments: 'The fact we are continuing to grow so quickly and have the need for a new, larger, home in NYC speaks volumes in terms of the fresh approach we bring to the marketplace.'
