Userlytics Adds Demographic Targeting

In the US, usability testing specialist Userlytics has added a new suite of demographic targeting capabilities to its interactive platform, to help clients pitch their marketing campaigns at relevant audiences.

Alejandro Rivas-MicoudHeadquartered in San Mateo, California, with a European subsidiary in Madrid, Spain, Userlytics uses webcams, social networks and demographic targeting to help agencies test how end-users are responding to their online and off-line initiatives.

The firm recently rolled out an enterprise version of its video-based remote usability testing platform, offering clients an executive summary of key events and comments hyperlinked to the relevant videos and timelines.

Its new demographic targeting solutions allow clients to select testers by criteria such as age, gender and education level, while also filtering on attributes such as salary/household income, mobile device ownership and service providers used.

In addition, the firm has launched a custom service option that allows companies to recruit test participants by demographic attribute at various levels, and located nearly anywhere in the world.

CEO Alejandro Rivas-Micoud comments: 'By allowing participants to engage and interact from the convenience of their home, on their own preferred schedule, we significantly expand the pool of potential participants. We're able to accomplish this through the use of proprietary technology tools that analyze the wealth of demographic data contained in social media and ad targeting networks, allowing us to successfully identify and recruit these higher-value participants.
