Target Launches Real-Time Tool

In the US, Target Research Group has announced the launch of Real Time Insights - a tool giving researchers desktop control over the data collection and analysis process.

The company, a division of The MVL Group, says the system makes all the steps in the data collection and tabulation process available to the researcher via an icon on their desktop. Basic data is stat-tested and tabulations are available real-time, and project managers can react immediately to the incoming data by changing questionnaire design or even ending a study early.

A further module - Real Time Insights LIVE - allows the researcher to watch respondents interact with the product using a controllable camera in the firm's mall facilities, complete with desktop control of zooming and panning; and where useful to speak directly with them. All findings can be recorded, edited, summarized, presented and archived.

Steve Cook, CEO, Target Research Group, says the new tool 'eliminates the wait for information during the time of the study, giving users true answers and actionable results rather than just data. It's the industry's only tool that lets users watch and interact live with the consumer during the interview to gain even more insight.'

The company is online at www.targetresearchgroup.com, and a demo is available at www.targetrealtime.com.
