Price Watch Service Gathers Momentum

Skuuudle, a UK-based provider of competitive intelligence and price automation services to online businesses, has announced plans for significant expansion 'in the coming months'.

Skuuudle's software monitors online pricing information to help clients hone their own pricing strategies. Clients include market research companies as well as online retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

The Altrincham-based company says it has invested over £3.5m in new technology, chiefly the development of two main SaaS services, Skuuudle Whizzz and Skuuudle Maxxx.

Entry level option Whizzz compares data on up to 5,000 products and 50 competitors, reporting daily on a specified online product range and its pricing, presenting results on the web. Maxxx is the premium version, a bespoke package allowing clients to monitor prices from all its competitors, view detailed analysis via a dashboard and set up alerts for price changes.

CEO Andrew Senior says his firm's aim is 'to become the global leader in competitive intelligence and price automation' and opines: 'the investment we've made sets us on the road to achieve this.' One recent success was working with Asda, powering its 'big toy roll back' programme, which allows customers to compare the prices of branded toys.
