Digital Unit for Washington's GQR

Washington, DC-based polling firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner has opened a digital division, led by Anna Greenberg and offering social media analytics, strategic consulting, and modeling & micro-targeting services for communications, as well as web development and online ad services.

GQR Digital makes use of the parent firm's established polling and strategy expertise, and offers to analyze online issues and brands, target audiences and deliver messages.

The new division comes a year after GQR branched out internationally with an office in London, UK managed by Labour Party Leader Ed Milliband's former speechwriter James Morris; and two and a half years after opening in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Greenberg brings nearly fifteen years of survey experience to the division, having worked at GQR for ten of them. In addition to expertise in women and politics, LGBT rights, religion and politics, healthcare policy and drug policy reform, she brings understanding of advanced analytics and of the impact of social media on public opinion.

She is joined in the new division by GQR's Director of New Media Strategies Patrick Faust, Director of Analytics Masahiko Aida, and Digital Media Coordinator Travis Horlacher.

The division, which commenced operations in November, is online at www.gqrdigital.com .
