GfK HealthCare Names Walton Head of UK Ops

In London, GfK Healthcare has appointed Ben Walton as Head of its UK operations, responsible for the support and development of business across the country, in addition to managing and expanding the executive team.

Walton began his career as a Brand Manager at AstraZeneca, before joining Adelphi International Research in 2005, where he latterly worked as Client Strategy Director. In his new role, he will be charged with business growth within existing and prospective accounts, monitoring budgets, and overseeing all department activity, while delivering the firm's overall global strategy to the UK market.

David Mackenzie, who also joined from Adelphi last year as Group Client Lead for HealthCare, comments: 'As we enter 2012, I see great opportunity for our UK office to reach the next level of growth under Ben's leadership.
