JWT and Ogilvy Finance Veteran Joins [x+1]

Digital marketing specialist [x+1] has appointed digital marketing veteran Peter Massey as President and COO, effective immediately. Massey has served as CFO of WPP agencies JWT and Ogilvy & Mather for the last five years.

Reporting to Chairman and CEO John Nardone, Massey assumes responsibility for management of the firm's day-to-day operations, and comments: 'I'm excited to be returning to my passion for leading a cutting-edge, high-growth marketing technology company'.

Before taking the CFO role at Ogilvy & Mather, Massey led global financial operations for Ogilvy's flagship IBM account. He began his career at digital advertising firm Modem Media (now Publicis Modem), where he spent twelve years as CFO/General Manager and where Nardone worked with him as President, International in the 1990s.
