Senior Appointments for SA Firm Yellowwood

In South Africa, brand insights specialist Yellowwood has appointed Matthew Glogauer as Group Head of Research and Analytics. The firm has also promoted Jenny Moore to head up Business Development and Innovation.

Matthew Glogauer and Jenny MoorePart of ad agency network TBWA\Worldwide, Cape Town and Johannesburg-based Yellowwood offers brand and market strategy and 'brand experience creation' services. Last year, it expanded its insights and research capabilities through a strategic partnership with Hall & Partners, rolling out the latter's proprietary conscious/unconscious brand engagement measure Engager across South Africa.

Glogauer joins with twelve years' industry experience. Most recently, he was Deputy MD of full service qual and quant agency KLA (Kaufman Levin Associates), prior to which he served as Brand Manager: Africa at TigerBrands, and was an SRE at Research Surveys. Earlier, he worked in London at GlaxoSmithKline in the HIV Therapy area. He has also served as Corporate Chair of SAMRA (The South African Marketing Research Association).

Yellowwood Group MD David Blyth comments: 'Yellowwood believes that data analytics is a critical competence going forward, and Matthew will be building our expertise in this area. He will also be working closely with our affiliates, Hall & Partners in the UK, to bring new research and analytics offerings to South Africa.'

Separately, Moore moves into her new role to drive the company's creation and development of new products. Prior to joining Yellowwood in 2005, she served as Research Manager at FCB SA, and also worked at Research Surveys.
