Spring Roll-Out for Nielsen NeuroFocus China

Nielsen has announced the launch of its NeuroFocus testing laboratories in China, citing 'huge opportunities for businesses to tap into the unmet demands' of consumers as the economy shifts its focus towards them.

China next for NeuroLabs...Headquartered in the USA, NeuroFocus was 100% acquired by Nielsen just under a year ago.

The firm's neurological testing laboratories, known as NeuroLabs, already provide clients in the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East with neuroscience expertise measuring consumer responses to marketing content, messages and advertising. The division uses brainwave, eye tracking and skin conductance tests to measure consumer attention, engagement and memory retention.

Yan Xuan, Nielsen Greater China President, comments, 'We are very excited to bring this cutting edge marketing technology to China, the timing couldn't be better! ... Winning the China market is critical for businesses. Given the significant resources invested into every product launch, ad campaign and package design, why isn't every launch a success? With the power of science, we are hoping Nielsen NeuroFocus can help businesses better understand the consumer and provide more precision in its marketing efforts.'
