ReadyPulse Gets Funds and New CEO

Brand advocacy platform ReadyPulse has raised an undisclosed amount of initial funding, which it will use to roll out its recently launched Brand Advocate Builder behavior analysis platform. The company has also named former Gartner exec Dennis O'Malley as CEO.

Dennis O'MalleyReadyPulse offers a combination of user behavior analysis and competitive understanding, not only analyzing behavior on social networks, but also recommending specific actions to take to achieve business goals.

Brand Advocate Builder enables brand marketers to identify their firms' advocates, recognize and reward them, and understand what content increases engagement and how a brand is performing against the competition's.

The firm's initial round of funding has been led by Moxie Software, and as part of the agreement, co-founder O'Malley will be moving from his role leading Moxie's Global Services and Insight division to head ReadyPulse. He was earlier VP Sales for Gartner, where he managed the West Coast Region and built the firm's Emerging Technology, VC/Private Equity and Semiconductor practices.

In his new position, O'Malley will be supported by ReadyPulse co-founders Srinivas Penumaka, T Vinod Gupta, and Mihir Vaidya, who jointly developed the brand advocacy platform.
