New EVP for Echo
Echo Research has appointed Robert Takacs as Executive Vice President, based in New York. He joins the firm's leadership team and takes responsibility for expanding its brand within the US, as well as for client service and enhancing its range of services.
 Takacs brings more than fifteen years' global consulting and research experience and was recently MD of Illuminas. Before joining Illuminas in autumn 2008 he worked as a VP at research and advisory firm AMI-Partners, and earlier at Guideline's Strategic Consulting and Research division, Gartner's UK office, Norwegian consulting firm NTC, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds BA in Economics from Upsala College and an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
