Name Change and New Midlands Studio for UKFS

Specialist face-to-face agency UK Fieldwork Services (UKFS) has changed its name to PeoplePeople UK, and opened a viewing studio called 'The People Place', at a new location in Leamington Spa, to cater for 'outside London' demand.

Jeanette MacDonaldOwned by consumer and sensory research specialist MMR Group, the company has a team of fifteen staff, who deliver a wide range of projects ranging from packaging and shelf display tests to high prep food tasting.

Around £200k has been invested in the new studio, which offers two separate areas or a combined studio space for larger workshops and quant testing. It also features a test kitchen equipped for high preparation food testing, staffed by the firm's food hygiene-qualified staff. Other facilities include Wi-Fi access, 'picture in picture' and playback viewing, client breakout rooms and full audio visual equipment.

Head of the agency Jeanette MacDonald (pictured) says the studio is the closest Midlands viewing facility to London; based an hour by train from London Marylebone, and just over an hour outside the M25.

Commenting on the rebrand, MacDonald adds: 'Our core skill is our ability to find and extract the best from the people our clients really want to meet; hence we wanted to represent this in our company name. Our area of fieldwork is becoming increasingly complex and less commoditised; now we have even more to offer customers by offering fieldwork design and a viewing facility from under one roof.'
