Webtrends Launches iPad App

Online analytics pioneer Webtrends has launched a free iPad app, Webtrends Today, making analytics and insights easily available to users.

Existing customers can use the app as an extension of the firm's Webtrends Analytics 10 intelligence product, to compare performance metrics and analytics across digital channels including web sites, mobile and social properties; but the app is also available to non-customers who can view 'current, trending and attractively formatted' data on their Facebook, Twitter and YouTube properties.

For Facebook, the app shows numbers of Likes and conversations, plus graphic visualizations of social impact across demographics; for Twitter, Klout score is shown, as is number of followers, and number of retweets; and for YouTube, users can view total number of views per video tracked as well as total channel views.

Benjamin Diggles, the firm's Director of Digital Marketing, comments: 'Our customers told us that they were looking for a better, more convenient tool for accessing key digital intelligence data and sharing it. Our iPad app is specifically designed and optimized to make important digital data beautiful, mobile, meaningful and, most of all, shareable...'
