Peak Answers Reports £1m Sales in First Year

In the UK, data collection agency Peak Answers has reported sales of more than £1m during its first year of trading.

The firm was launched last August by ex-Harris Interactive Director of Research Operations Dave Laybourne (pictured), after buying his former employer's Stockport-based call centre.

Peak Answers provides telephone data collection and related services, alongside sample sourcing, coding and qual recruiting, while continuing to provide telephone fieldwork services to Harris.

Commenting on the firm's financial results, Laybourne said: 'We've clearly had a fantastic first year, with sales exceeding all expectations. As is always the case in the market research world, past client relationships have helped to contribute to our success, but it is particularly gratifying that we have built up a significant amount of business with new clients.'

The company has recently moved to new premises housing an updated telephone system and communications infrastructure.
