Former Adobe Man Joins Web Analytics Demystified
US consultancy Web Analytics Demystified has appointed former Adobe exec Kevin Willeitner as a Partner, to lead the company's analytics systems integration, technical, and dashboard consulting.
Web Analytics Demystified was founded in 2007 by former JupiterResearch analyst Eric T. Peterson, to offer consulting to companies striving to realize the full potential of their investment in web analytics. Last October, the company piloted a methodology known as GUARDS, which it claimed to be the world's first audit and certification system for consumer data collection platforms.
Willeitner (pictured) joins after two years with Adobe, where as a Principal Consultant, he specialized in supporting Adobe's SiteCatalyst, Discover, Insights, and the firm's ReportBuilder dashboard management platform. Prior to this, he spent nearly three years at web analytics firm Omniture, prior to its acquisition by Adobe.
In his new role, Willeitner will focus on helping clients mature their web analytics efforts and develop integration solutions that enable businesses and marketers to develop more complete views of visitor and customer behavior. He joins former colleague Brian Hawkins who has been at the company since February, having previously worked in Adobe's Test&Target group.
Peterson comments: 'Kevin is widely known within the digital analytics community and rounds out the Demystified team with a solid combination of technical skills and strategic vision. With his addition, Web Analytics Demystified has assembled the ultimate 'dream team' for any company working to leverage digital analytics from strategy to technical execution.'
