ISA Launches Standalone Sampling Firm

Data collection specialist Interviewing Service of America (ISA) has launched a standalone online sampling company called SoapBoxSample, offering a combination of resources such as opt-in panels, routing techniques, social media and live sample.

Jacqueline RosalesFounded in 1982, Los Angeles-based ISA's services include B2B and B2C telephone interviewing, CATI programming, tabs and coding, and qual focus groups.

At the center of its new firm is the SoapBoxSample Panel - with consumers recruited from multiple channels such as online, telephone, mobile, face-to-face and social media. Panel engagement is not limited to taking surveys, as the firm encourages interaction through various community features such as the SoapBox SpotLight, discussion threads, video postings and monthly charity donations.

SoapBoxSample is led by Jacqueline Rosales (pictured), who joins after more than a decade at Luth Research, latterly as Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to this, she was a Project Director at Directions in Research.

ISA President Mike Halberstam comments: 'After more than 30 years in the marketing research space, we are in tune with sampling challenges and the hurdles involved with capturing good data for our clients. As we watch consumer behavior continue to evolve, it is clear our job as researchers is to capture and engage with respondents wherever they are and by alternate means beyond just traditional approaches.'
