App Optimiser Swrve Gets Funds, Recruits in Dublin

Mobile app optimisation specialist Swrve has raised $6.25m in a round of financing led by Atlantic Bridge Partners and Intel Capital, and says it will create 100 new R&D jobs in its headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

Swrve's Irish founders Hugh Reynolds and Steve Collins say the money will boost its sales function and engineering operations. It also has offices in San Francisco.

Swrve's system allows developers to test and tune the content and delivery of their games on the fly, and improve monetisation. Analytics and audience targeting tools are also part of its package: today the firm also unveiled an integrated campaign tracker allowing developers to track real-time data on revenue generated by their apps on iOS devices.
