Two Stevies for Decipher's Luck

Kristin Luck, President of research technology firm Decipher, was a double winner at last Friday's Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Kirstin LuckLuck won a Gold Award in the 'Women Helping Women' category for her work as the founder of the Women in Research (WIRe) networking group; and a Silver for Female Executive of the Year in the business services category, for Decipher.

Billed as 'the world's top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run', the Stevies are open to organisations and individuals worldwide, and this year's 9th awards, hosted in MYC, received more than 1,200 entries from 17 nations and territories. President and founder Michael Gallagher described this year's crop as 'the most accomplished, impressive group we've ever had' and added: 'Their stories of success will be an inspiration to women around the globe who dream of starting and growing a business and making a difference in the world.'

WIRe (Women in Research) began in LA and now includes more than 300 female researchers worldwide. This year, it established a mentoring program, matching experienced women researchers with newcomers.

Decipher has seen double digit year-over-year growth for five years in a row, and was also commended for its 'onshoring' practices, keeping work within the US.
