AbsolutData Hires Diener to Lead Expansion
Analytics and research firm AbsolutData has appointed industry veteran Dr. Chris Diener as Senior Vice President and a key member of its leadership team.
He brings more than fifteen years of experience including building and selling (to Omnicom) a marketing analytics company. Most recently he served as COO at The Modellers (now part of Omnicom) and as Executive Director of its new division, ModHub.
In his new role, based in Salt Lake City, he will lead the expansion of the company following its recent $20m investment by Fidelity Growth Partners India. AbsolutData says it aims to double headcount over the next year (from a base of 300), as well as expanding its global footprint.
AbsolutData was founded in 2001 by Dr. Anil Kaul, Sudeshna Datta and Suhale Kapoor, alumni of McKinsey, Mitsubishi, Kraft and Pfizer and offers big data / high end business analytics, modelling, reporting and data management from a head office in San Francisco and locations in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Gurgaon, India.
