Short-Lived Foredeus 'Absorbed'

Salt Lake City-based marketing intelligence firm Foretelligent has reintegrated its big data / predictive analytics arm Foredeus and its marcoms /strategy division 44ounces, under the latter brand. The two were split out just six months ago.

Michael FifeLast October, Foretelligent announced it was splitting into two operating divisions, Foredeus and 44ounces. At the time Michael Fife (pictured), Principal Manager of Foretelligent, said the move signalled the firm's 'increasing specialization into areas that are of growing interest to clients', adding: 'By specializing in this way we can continue to focus on both.'

The merger brings back together the two stages of the process and Fife says: 'The ability to assist clients from initial dataset creation to results assimilation all the way to execution and closed-loop tracking and reporting, is the big issue in marketing today. Our analytical resources and integrated marketing expertise enable us to do just that.'

The combined firm's services include dataset creation, predictive analytics, research, strategy, as well as more standard marketing services such as advertising, direct marketing, and PR across all platforms. Fife now takes up the role of Principal Director, in charge of 44ounces' overall operations.
