AudienceScience Promotes Peralta to CEO

In the US, behavioral targeting and data management firm AudienceScience has promoted Mike Peralta to the position of Chief Executive Officer, replacing Jeff Pullen who has left the company. The firm has also named Robert Chamberlain as Chief Financial Officer.

Mike PeraltaThe company (formerly known as RevenueScience) offers both an Audience Gateway technology platform and a targeting marketplace, which record billions of 'behavioral events' daily from more than 386 million unique Internet users.

Peralta (pictured), who joined last summer as President, previously worked at digital advertising platform MediaMath as CRO, and as COO of re-targeting specialist Magnetic. Earlier, he was CRO at targeting technology firm Tumri; SVP, North American Advertiser Services at AOL; and a Director at Advertising.com.

He replaces Pullen, who joined the firm in 2010 as President and COO and became CEO in 2011. An AudienceScience spokesman confirmed that Pullen has left the company, but was unable to say what his future plans are.

Chamberlain joins as CFO with a 20-year technology sector background. Most recently, he served as CFO of PopCap Games, and other technology companies of which he has been CFO include F5 Networks, Onyx Software Corporation and WatchGuard Corporation.

Board Director Bill Ericson, who is General Partner at AudienceScience investor Mohr, Davidow Ventures, comments: 'Both Mike and Bob have the right experience to advance AudienceScience as a global enterprise software company.
