Actus Launches MR Sales Recruitment Division

Market research agency support consultancy Actus Sales Intelligence - formerly known as ActusMR - has opened a division dedicated to recruiting professional sales executives for the MR sector.

Paul KirchLaunched in 2009 by former Common Knowledge exec Paul Kirch (pictured), Actus helps clients drive increased sales through its lead generation system, strategic consulting and coaching.

Through its new division, the firm will vet and qualify potential sales and business development professionals, using what it calls the 'InterviewOne' approach.

Actus' team of industry sales leaders interview candidates applying experience gained while working in the sector. The team relies on a multi-point checklist to qualify candidates, which includes analyzing self-reported performance numbers to verify they are realistic and looking for any discrepancies. Candidates are taken through a series of 'mock' sales scenarios to see how they perform, and the team uses an assessment tool to provide feedback on personality and aptitude. Finally, prior to appointment, permission-based background checks are carried out.

Kirch says that with new challenges such as big data, mobile research, and research using social media influencing where companies spend their marketing research budgets, more than ever, companies require a sales process that works.
