comScore Tracking Email Ad Provider

comScore has added measurement of real-time email display ad service LiveIntent to its range of tracking options - the first time it has covered an email-exclusive ad network.

LiveIntent's technology serves display ads as emails are opened, promising marketers the ability to buy and sell email ad inventory 'exactly like web display'. Advertisers can buy either direct from the LiveIntent Network or via their publisher partners. CEO Matt Keiser comments: 'LiveIntent grew 600% in 2012 and is only continuing to grow at breakneck speed. We're excited to offer comScore to our growing roster of advertisers while validating the massive premium audience in email.'

Joe Surgan, Sales Manager at comScore, comments: 'With LiveIntent's inclusion in Media Metrix reporting, advertisers and agencies that rely on our data for media planning will be empowered with information on this new advertising platform.' Just over a week ago, comScore reported its highest quarterly revenue to date, up 21% on the prior year period to $69.9m.

LiveIntent, backed by a number of venture capital firms, was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in NYC and on the web at www.liveintent.com .
