TagMan Nabs $5m for Business Expansion

Web site tracking innovator TagMan - which was launched by web analytics pioneer Paul Cook - has received $5m to help fund its global growth, including expansion of its 300-strong global partnership program STREAM.

Jon BaronFounded in 2004, with offices in New York and London, TagMan provides a solution that enables agencies and advertisers to manage online marketing tags/pixels - and the data they provide. Earlier this year the firm launched a marketing data platform providing access to TagMan's marketing data layer, collected in real-time and unified by tags.

STREAM offers certified partners real-time, tag enabled data collection and cross-channel marketing data, and is open to app providers; marketing and analytics agencies; and CRM, marketing and ecommerce platforms.

The new round of funding was led by Greycroft Partners and iNovia Capital, with a contribution from Silicon Valley Bank. The most recent sum adds to the $1.3m round of angel funding secured in 2010, and $7.25m raised in 2011.

CEO Jon Baron (pictured) comments: 'We are excited to deepen our relationship with our investors as we rapidly expand our customer and partner portfolios. TagMan's STREAM partnership program grew by 200% this year and our customer roster continues to include a who's who of the world's top brands.'
