Socialbakers Expands to Russia with VK Partnership

Czech-based social media monitoring firm Socialbakers Analytics has expanded to Russia through a partnership with social media platform VK, the country's 'second most visited site'.

Socialbakers offers social media benchmarking and analysis, including brand performance metrics, and says it monitors ten million corporate social media profiles. The company provides visual reporting, industry benchmarking and competitive analysis for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and now for VK.

CEO Jan Rezab (pictured) says the addition of the Russian platform will enable brands to measure, compare, and maximize social media performance in this 'key growth market'.

'You cannot optimize your market potential without being able to measure your performance and compare it to that of your competitors,' Rezab claims. 'We've always said that it's not just about measuring one metric, it's about all of them, and Socialbakers Analytics for VK provides all of the engagement, response rate and fan data that any brand present in the region needs.'
