Manthan Launches App Version of Retail Analytics Suite

Bangalore-based Manthan Systems has unveiled its new retail analytics solution, ARC Mobile, which covers operations, merchandising, marketing and financial data.

The app, which Manthan says is already deployed at several US-based retail chains in the fashion, grocery and convenience store segments, provides the full range of the company's ARC Merchandise Analytics solution on any iOS or Android-based tablet device, including interactive data visualizations and exception alerts, collaborative markups and customizable dashboards.

Manthan says the app was designed for functions such as regional managers and on-the-move executives, but is also being adopted by other departments such as merchandising and marketing. Kevin Walker (pictured), SVP and GM at Manthan Systems, comments: 'We have seen our customers use ARC Mobile to forge connections across departmental structures. For instance, one of our c-store clients use ARC Mobile on the iPad to review merchandise performance during in-store visits, including real-time in-stock inventory position and merchandise sell-through monitoring.'
