Rentrak Adds Innovation Leader

TV and movie audience specialist Rentrak has added Caroline Horner to its senior team, as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation. She leaves GroupM where she was Managing Partner, Director of Advanced Segmentations and Analytics.

She brings more than 25 years of experience in advertising buyers and agencies, with a focus on innovation and analytics. At GroupM she helped agencies apply data driven marketing strategies; and prior to this she worked as VP of Advanced Advertising Solutions at Dish Network, leading the development of a number of new products and television services.

Horner, who worked with Rentrak while in her job at Dish, will now lead the firm's new product innovation, leveraging its existing databases. Rentrak's EVP of IT & Chief Information Officer Amir Yazdani says the company is 'excited to bring in an individual with a breadth of knowledge both as a client and a practitioner of big data,' He adds: 'Caroline's experience in measurement strategies will allow us to make our insights more accessible for agencies, advertisers and networks, as well as bridge the gap between advertising theory and performance.'
