TNS Infratest Finds New CEO in Germany

In Germany, TNS Infratest has named Stefan Stumpp as its new Chief Executive Officer, replacing Andreas Kosters who has already left the company to focus on business interests outside the market research sector.

Stumpp (pictured), who will take up his new role on 1 April, joined the firm in 2001 from the Department of Marketing at the University of Augsburg. In 2010, he was appointed to the Board, since when, he has been responsible for TNS Infratest's Automotive division.

Until Stumpp takes over his new role, leadership of TNS Infratest will be managed by Winfried Hagenhoff and Hartmut Scheffler, who said in a joint statement that Stumpp has an outstanding reputation among customers and employees and is regarded as an expert in his field.

In April, Stumpp will replace Kosters who stepped down from the role after three years with the firm.
