Trayner Rejoins GQR to Head New NYC Office

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR) has announced the opening of an office in New York City; and the appointment of Graeme Trayner, formerly a Partner at Brunswick Group in London, as VP leading the office and the firm's corporate consulting practice worldwide.

Graeme Trayner rejoins...Led by Senior Vice President Anna Greenberg, GQR describes it focus as 'applying cutting-edge thinking from political campaigning to corporate challenges'. The firm already has offices in London and Buenos Aires in addition to its HQ in Washington.

Trayner, who brings fifteen years of corporate research experience, will work closely with London-based European head James Morris. At financial communications consultancy Brunswick, Trayner created and led the insight practice and drove its international expansion. He began his career as a GQR intern, after graduating from the London School of Economics, and becomes the third former intern to become a Vice President at the firm.

EVP Jeremy Rosner says the company is 'thrilled' to have Trayner back in the new twin role, adding: 'Companies are increasingly assessed in the same harsh and unrelenting way as political candidates. Applying thinking from the campaign war room to the corporate board room can help companies navigate this landscape'.

GQR supported the election victory last year of New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, with polling and strategic advice, and Greenberg comments: 'Establishing a New York office will allow us to support our strong and increasing base of clients in the region, and we are proud to expand our network to this great city.'
