Rentrak and i360 in Pro-Free-Market Segmentation Deal

Screen metrics specialist Rentrak has partnered with data and technology provider i360 to provide insights into 'pro-free-market' political audiences, and help Republican and conservative organizations develop more effective campaign strategies.

Michael Palmeri360's clients in the pro-free-market, public affairs, political and corporate communities have access to a database containing voter data from all 50 states and 250+ million consumers, along with hundreds of demographic and lifestyle attributes, aggregated census and election data, and private political and issue survey response data on over 100 million individuals.

Rentrak will now integrate eighteen custom political segments based on the i360 community into its local television viewing ratings, to gauge which programs, genres, stations and dayparts deliver higher densities of the voter segments they seek to influence.

i360 President Michael Palmer (pictured), who previously served as National eCampaign Director for Republican presidential nominee John McCain in 2008 and worked on eCampaigns for Bush-Cheney in 2004, comments: 'By incorporating individual level data on who voters are and the issues that move them with Rentrak's television viewing information, we are able to take broadcast and cable television targeting to a new level. This powerful combination is a straightforward way for free-market candidates and causes to make smarter, more accurate TV buying decisions in 2014 and beyond.'
