Now Monkey Slots Neatly into Office

OfficeReports, a data analysis and reporting overlay within Microsoft Office, has now been extended to integrate directly with DIY platform SurveyMonkey.

Torben LaustsenOfficeReports was introduced last year by Torben Laustsen and Fred Balkenende, the creators of Danish data collection software TricTrac. The tool converts Microsoft Office into a complete data analysis and reporting suite for surveys, embedding the necessary capabilities within PowerPoint and Word.

Data gathered from SurveyMonkey can now be directly integrated into PowerPoint presentations, to enable researchers to build tables and charts in PowerPoint while surveys are running, and at any time link a survey and update all tables and charts with the latest data.

Lausten (pictured) comments: 'The majority of all survey data ends up as tables and charts in PowerPoint. The new integration with SurveyMonkey makes the process from survey data to tables and charts in reports much shorter, simpler and much faster. We hope that SurveyMonkey users will welcome this new opportunity.'
