iModerate Adds 'Private Bulletin Board' Option

In the US, online research specialist iModerate has expanded its research suite to offer its clients full-service, private bulletin boards, powered by its proprietary cognitive framework ThoughtPath.

The firm says the new service will allow its clients to tackle a broader range of challenges, expanding on its traditional core expertise in live, one-on-one conversations with an option to engage over a longer period. However, unlike many bulletin boards, iModerate's will remain private, keeping conversations one-on-one in nature - respondents will not interact or see each other's postings. The company says this will remove group bias and 'encourage candor and deeper conversations'. Boards will be moderated in-house by the firm's team of qualitative specialists.

iModerate says that despite the extended timeline possible with the new methodology, 'best practices dictate adhering to a few posts a day', which means its own expertise in asking 'the right questions in the right sequence' is still vital.

Managing Partner Jen Drolet comments: 'Consumers are on the go, communicating on different devices at all times of the day and night. By offering asynchronous conversations, we are putting the power of when and how to respond back in their hands for those projects. Keeping the one-on-one interaction is critical for us at this time, but the flexibility of letting individuals engage in this way is a step we embrace.'

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Denver, CO, iModerate is online at www.imoderate.com .
